1. What Vera is

Vera is an AI-powered hiring assistant that conducts structured voice interviews with job candidates and produces scored evaluations. It is built and operated by Radvik LLC ("Vera", "we", "us").

Important: Vera is a decision-support tool. It produces evaluations and recommendations. It does not make hiring decisions. You — the customer — make all final hiring decisions. Vera's output is one input among many. You remain responsible for every hiring decision you make.

By signing up for a Vera account or using the Vera service, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you are signing up on behalf of a company or organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind that organisation to these terms.

2. Your account

You must provide accurate information when creating your account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account.

3. What you can do with Vera

Your Vera subscription gives you the right to use the Vera platform to screen and interview candidates for genuine open roles within your organisation or, for recruitment agencies, on behalf of your clients.

You may not:

4. What Vera does — and does not — guarantee

Vera uses AI to evaluate candidates. AI is not perfect. We design Vera to be accurate, fair, and useful — but we do not guarantee:

AI and hiring law: In some jurisdictions (including certain US states and EU countries), the use of AI in hiring is regulated. You are responsible for understanding and complying with these regulations. Vera does not provide legal advice.

We do commit to: building Vera to be structurally fair (no biometric data, no protected class inferences), keeping your data secure, notifying you promptly of any material service issues, and being responsive when something goes wrong.

5. Payments & billing

Vera is billed per role. Current pricing is displayed at vera.amicus247.com/landing.html#pricing. Prices may change — we will give you at least 30 days notice before any price increase takes effect on your active account.

6. Your responsibility to candidates

You are the data controller for candidates you invite to a Vera interview. That means the legal and ethical responsibility for how you use candidate data sits with you.

You agree to:

Vera is designed to ask only job-relevant questions and to evaluate only job-relevant competencies. You configure the criteria and questions. You are responsible for ensuring they are lawful and relevant to the role.

7. Data & confidentiality

Each party agrees to keep the other's confidential information confidential. For Vera, that means your job setup, your criteria, your candidate evaluations, and your business information. For you, that means our platform, pricing, and any non-public information about how Vera works.

How Vera handles candidate and customer data is set out fully in our Privacy & Data Policy. The key points:

8. Intellectual property

Vera owns Vera. The platform, the AI models, the evaluation logic, the interface, and the brand are ours. These terms give you a licence to use the service — not to own any part of it.

You own the content you bring to Vera: your job descriptions, your criteria, your questions, your candidate data. We don't claim any ownership over the data you upload or the evaluations generated from it.

If you give us feedback or suggestions about how to improve Vera, we may use that to improve the product. We won't owe you anything for it, but we will be grateful.

9. Liability limits

We want to be straight with you about this. Vera is a software tool. We work hard to make it reliable and fair — but like all software, it has limits.

To the maximum extent permitted by law: Vera's total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to the fees you paid to Vera in the 3 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages — including lost profits, lost hires, or decisions made on the basis of Vera's evaluations.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for fraud, gross negligence, or anything that cannot be limited by law.

10. Termination

You can cancel your Vera account at any time by emailing vera@amicus247.com. There are no cancellation fees. Access continues until the end of your current billing period.

We may suspend or terminate your account if:

On termination, your access to the platform ceases. You may request an export of your data within 30 days of termination. After that, data is deleted per our retention policy.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. For material changes, we'll notify you by email at least 14 days before the change takes effect. For minor changes (typos, clarifications that don't change your rights), we'll update the page and the "last updated" date.

If you disagree with a material change, you can cancel your account before the change takes effect and receive a pro-rata refund of any prepaid fees for the unused period.

Continuing to use Vera after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.

12. Governing law & disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Before either party initiates formal legal action, we both agree to try to resolve any dispute by good-faith negotiation first. Email us at vera@amicus247.com and give us 30 days to work it out.

Any dispute that can't be resolved by negotiation will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Lake County, Illinois.
